Yay Mittens!

Well, Mitt Romney won in Michigan tonight, thereby making the Republican nomination contest even more of a mess than it was before. That's a good thing -- frankly, the longer they tear each other to shreds the better.

It's even more interesting that it's already being interpreted as a win with an asterisk, since there's more-than-anecdotal evidence of Democrats voting in the R primary just to mess things up -- we have Kos to thank for this particular bit of electoral deliciousness.

And in the meantime, of course, Giuliani came in 6th, barely beating Uncommitted. Any minute now we'll have pundits telling us that yet another round of utter electoral failure is exactly what he planned and part of his genius strategy.

Giuliani's approach to the primaries does lead one to wonder when, if he were elected, he'd bother showing up to work.
